摘要

Core materials and permanent magnets are important in power electronics, where motors are driven with inverters, and choppers and converters are used to control voltages. Nd-Fe-B magnets and inverter drives increase the power of motors, and the motor cores are magnetized at higher flux densities and higher frequencies. Therefore core materials with high flux density and low iron loss at high frequency are necessary. Then, improved magnetic properties of electrical steel sheets and applications of soft-magneticcomposite or amorphous materials are important to improve the power and the efficiency of motors.
