摘要

The method in which information on nonspherical particles is obtained by measuring scattered laser radiation is a basis of numerous studies in science and engineering, e.g., in astronomy, biophysics, medicine, electronics, and meteorology [1]. In this connection, it is topical to construct adequate mathematical models for studying the scattering properties of rough particles of various shapes. A majority of existing numerical methods for the modeling of waves scattered by rough surfaces is based on the statistical averaging by the Monte-Carlo method [2]. In this method, a two- or three-dimensional diffraction problem is solved for numerous implementations of the random scatterer surface with the subsequent averaging of the results.
