Review: How do healthcare practitioners talk about end-of-life conversations? A poetic inquiry

摘要

Overall this paper offers valuable insight from a methodological review into how different professionals make sense of end-of-life (EOL) conversations using a novel approach to analysis (poetic inquiry). The scoping review is helpful in that it distinguishes an important part of literature when theoretical and empirical literature stakeholders and key informants are considered. The scoping review is particularly apt for research which uses data from policy and practice guidelines and to provide a contextual background. Unlike a systematic review, in this review there was no weighting allocated to the accounts, but rather a grouping of studies which relates to a theme.
