Commentary: Helping hospital professionals to implement Advance Care Planning in daily practice: a European Delphi study from field experts

The focus of this research is about finding the views of experts in Europe on Advance Care Planning (ACP) in hospitals. It is a relevant research project for many health professionals and has the potential to reach out to policy-makers and educationalists across Europe. The research methodology is appropriate, and the questions are well constructed and analysed. Research findings lift the veil on barriers that hinder implementation of ACP as well as highlighting the value it brings to patients, their families and staff when practising within an ACP model.
