Three-Dimensional Color Imaging Device for the Diagnosis of Myocardial Ischemia Based on Vector Projection

This study aimed to determine the diagnostic value of a three- dimensional color imaging device for myocardial ischemia (MI). The subjects included 71 patients with suspected coronary artery disease who underwent evaluation with electrocardiography (ECG), the device, and coronary angiography (CAG) within 1 week. CAG was used as the standard to evaluate the device in terms of its sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy in detecting MI in different regions. In the 71 patients, the device identified 62 cases of MI, while CAG confirmed 63 cases. Compared with those obtained using ECG and CAG, the MI test results obtained using the device in anterior, lateral, and inferior ventricular walls did not show statistically significant differences. The device can visually display the accurate location and extent of MI, and is expected to become a new, noninvasive method.
