The moduli space of negatively curved metrics of a hyperbolic manifold

We prove that the moduli space of negatively curved metrics of a hyperbolic manifold M~n has nontrivial homotopy and homology groups in certain dimensions (depending on n) provided M has a 'good' closed geodesic.
