摘要

Shortening the drying time of a castable at a relining site will provide fuel cost savings, and minimize the loss of operation time. There is a possibility, however, that insufficient drying will create a risk of serious damage due to explosive spalling. With the intent of focusing especially on cement-free castables, explosive spalling characteristics were studied for low cement castables (LCC) and cement-free (no cement) castables (NCC).
