Combi Plywood for General Purpose (exterior grade) of Plantation Species--Eucalyptus hybrid, Populus deltoides and Paulownia fortunei

In this study plywood with different combination of Populus deltoides (poplar), Eucalyptus hybrid (eucalyptus) and Paulownia fortunei (paulownia) were tried. In this the suitability of combination plywood for general purpose (Exterior grade) Poplar, eucalyptus and paulownia are described. It was observed that plywood made of combination of Eucalyptus - Paulownia - Eucalyptus (EPE) and Poplar - Eucalyptus.-Poplar (PopEPop) veneers meet the IS specifications at all the three pressure levels viz. 10.5 kg/cm~2, 14.0 kg/cm~2 and 17.5 kg/cm~2 and combination of Eucalyptus - Poplar -Eucalyptus (EPopE) meets the IS specifications at two pressure level 14.0 kg/cm~2 17.5 kg/cm~2.
