METHOD FOR PROPAGATING IN VITRO AND ADAPTING PROPAGATION MATERIAL OF A HYBRID OF BLACK POPLAR X BALSAM POPLAR (POPULUS NIGRA L. x POPULUS BALSAMIFERA L.) FOR FOREST PLANTATION GROWING

A method for propagating in vitro and adapting propagation material of a hybrid of black poplar × balsamic poplar (Populus nigra L. × Populus balsamifera L.) for forest plantation growing, which comprises selecting explants from a donor plant, obtaining an asepting culture thereof, selecting nutrient media for morphogenesis and rhyzogenesis in a culture in vitro on the Murashige and Skoog (MS) nutrient medium, adapting the regenerant-plants to conditions in vivo. Selection of explants is carried out in the spring-summer period with concentrating and exposing sterilizing agents; of regenerant plants on the Murashige and Skoog nutrient medium with a content of 6-benzylaminopurine (BAP) of 0.5-1.0 mgl; rooting microshoots at the MS medium with halved composition of mineral salts and stage-by-stage adaptation thereof to conditions in vivo on such substrates (1:1:1): valley peat, biohumus, river sand.
