摘要

Acrocarpus fraximifolius Wight & Arm is commonly called Mundani.It belongs to the family Legumtnoseae.It thrives in areas of heaxy rainfall and is found in evergreen forests of the Western Ghats,Sikkim and Assam.Keeping in view of the medicinal importance of the plant it has thought desirable to carry out systematic chemical investigation of the seeds of the plant.Present communication deals with qualitative analysis of the seeds and analysis of fixed oil of the seeds.
