摘要

In this paper, an investigation has been made to study the effect of yam count and various knitting parameters, namely loop length, carriage speed and yarn input tension on thermo-physiological comfort properties like air permeability, thermal conductivity and thermal absorptivity. An orthogonal block Box and Behnken experimental design has been used to conduct the study. Analyses of the results show that yarn count and loop length have significant influence on the fabric thermo-physiological comfort properties. Yarn input tension and carriage speed have no significant impact on the fabric comfort.
