A technology that allows one to create new diamond-metal compositions for stone-cutting diamond tools is proposed, which is based on selecting new metallic binders with the use of powders of tailings (crushed samples of tungsten carbide and cobalt) of Tyrnyauz Tungsten-Molybdenum Plant and black tailings of Pobedit plant with almost the same composition. The proposed technology substantially increases the efficiency of diamond-metal compositions. The addition of powders of Tyrnyauz Tungsten-Molybdenum Plant or their mixtures with powders of black tailings of Pobedit plant to the blend provides finer porosity and increases the durability of diamond tools.
