Tata Steel has always remained steadfast on the ethos of value creation for all stakeholders, which for the Company has timeless relevance. Tata Steel also strongly believes that education is a basic human right, vital to personal and societal development and well-being. Education forms an important marker of human development and is one of the human development indices being used to assess the impact of interventions. Through its focused interventions in education, Tata Steel emphasizes to improve quality of education, particularly rural education as well as promotion of female education that would contribute to millennium development goals.
