Five-Input Cube-Root Logical Operation Based on DNA Strand Displacement

摘要

The five-digit cube-root digital logic circuit is designed based on the corresponding truth table of the cube-root circuit. Then, on the basis of the dual-rail method, the digital logic circuit can be transformed into the dual-rail circuit that comprises ten AND logic gates and ten OR logic gates. Next, based on DNA strand displacement reaction mechanism, the dual-rail circuit can be converted into the biochemical logic circuit that consists of amplifying gate, integration gate, seesaw AND gate and seesaw OR gate. Ultimately, the five-digit cube-root biochemical circuit is simulated by Visual DSD software and this biochemical circuit consists of 164 DNA reactions. The circuit has good scalability and parallelism, and could naturally combine with other circuits to construct large-scale logic circuits.
