Tullow mulls extra Kenya exploration next quarter

Tullow Oil is considering adding extra exploration drilling to its programme in Kenya this year following the interpretation of new 3D seismic. The company had slashed the exploration spend in the Lo-kichar Basin this year in order to cut costs and concentrate on lifting reserves through appraisal and on the pipeline development itself to export the 600m bbl discovered so far.
