摘要

A mathematical model for simulating the oil-water two-phase wireline formation test is developed in this paper. The model is solved by the finite element method with high accuracy by adopting the Galerkin and least-squares forms to construct different finite element forms for the pressure and saturation fields, according to the type of field. Responses of pressure and saturation in time and space are computed and analysed here, providing not only the pressure response during the test, but also the starting time of sampling. These studies provide theoretical foundations for tool design and field data interpretation.
