Tullow Oil has launched a last minute search for a new partner for operated acreage off Mauritania where it will start drilling within weeks. The company is currently involved in a lour well campaign off the country with Dana Petroleum. Each company has the Stena DrillMAX drillship for two wells and Tullow is targeting new high-risk geology. It is currently completing the Fregate well in Dana"s Block C-7 which spudded in late August and will then move to wells in Blocks C-10 and C-6 for Tullow.
