BW Offshore finally looks to be closing in on a new contract with Eni for an FPSO off Nigeria after years of discussions. The pair have signed a letter of intent for a two year extension for the Abo FPSO which would take the contract to 2016. There are options for an additional seven years. The FPSO on the Abo Held has been subject to short term extensions since 2011 when the initial long-term contract expired.
