ShoreCan is just waiting for ministerial consent to take over a block offshore Nigeria which is a "significant oil appraisal development opportunity". The joint venture between Shoreline and Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COP) is to take 80% of shallow water OPL 226 which contains the Noa discovery only a few kilometres from the Anyala field.
