Lukoil Ghana project doubt as sanctions ramp up

Lukoil's potential deepwater development off Ghana has been put in doubt following fresh US and EU sanctions imposed on Moscow. The list of sanctions published by the EU and US on 12 September includes restrictions on sale, supply, transfer or export, directly or indirectly, of certain goods, services and technologies for the oil industry and prohibits the provision of services for deepwater oil exploration.
