Selection ofTrichodermaproducts to enhance the control of loquat white root rot by hot water drip irrigation

Rosellinia necatrix, a soilborne fungus, causes white root rot of loquat trees. Toward preventing the disease by enhancing a 45 degrees C hot water drip irrigation (HWD) treatment, which activates antagonism by soil fungi, we tested three commercialTrichodermaproducts and found that a product containingT. harzianumT-22 most enhanced the control efficacy. Field evaluation confirmed the enhanced efficacy of HWD with the product to cure the disease.
