摘要

Shell confirmed the award of contracts for the US $12 Bn Bonga Southwest project off Nigeria are heading "backwards" while Subsea 7 said it is still working on finding a lower priced solution for the development. As previously revealed by AOG the company had been hoping to award all contracts earlier this year but was trying to beat down costs further on the FPSO and subsea contracts. It failed to do this before elections and is now waiting to see how much more costs will fall and also the policy intentions of the newly elected Nigerian government.
