Premier Oil has issued a rig tender for a well in its acreage onshore Kenya later this year. The UK independent farmed into Taipan Resources' Block 2B in the east of the country on the border with Somalia. It is planning to drill the 251m bbl Badada (formerly Pearl) prospect in the fourth quarter of the year and has just acquired another 200km of 2D data around the prospect.
