Intrigue circles missing approval for Shell Nigeria sale

Shell may have trumpeted the multi-billion dollar sales contracts for four blocks onshore Nigeria but the government itself has yet to agree amidst rumours of political interference. The European major put OMLs 18,24,25 and 29 up for sale earlier this year as part of its well publicised withdrawal to the more secure offshore.
