Functional testing is the testing the application against business requirements. Proposed functional testing test case is a set of circumstances or variable/s under which a functional tester will decide whether a system under test satisfy requirements or facility correctly. The procedureof developing test-cases be able to help discover troubles in the requirements or propose of an application. In this paper we discussed about the functional testing for web applications in the context of industry. The study represents the main test techniques to be concentrated for functionalweb application testing, functional, usability, interface, compatibility, security, regression and functional testing tools with proposing Test case format for web-application testing for industry.
