User Authentication by Secured Graphical Password Implementation in Problems E-Commerce

For users seeking to access their respective accounts, graphical passwords have gained increasing application. However, the use of graphical elements for purposes of facilitating user interaction with e-commerce data and applications is yet to receive in-depth analysis. Therefore, this study seeks to propose a webpage design aimed at or capable of supporting user login and registration in their accounts; especially through graphical passwords. The proposed system employs modified inkblot features and seeks to satisfy the needs or demands of the e-commerce platform. The study designs and develops a system in such a way that users would register via the selection of certain shapes; with the shapes linked to textual inputs. From the interview results, it is evident that most of the users perceive the system as one that is easy to use. Also, the proposed system is avowed to be useful and promises to promote the users' ability to recall password elements with ease. Hence, the findings are important because they inform system developers nd designers about the criticality and efficacy of using inkblot graphical passwords in offering easy and secure account access among customers; especially due to the ease with which passwords can be remembered.
