Former VAALCO bosses provide new Gabon FPSO boost

Former VAALCO executives are ready to take over the opera-torship of the Dussafu FPSO project off Gabon from Harvest Natural Resources (HNR) and give the development a new push. Russ Scheirman and Lin Espey, who were chief operating officer and vice president of production respectively, have teamed up with a former JP Morgan banker Vean Gregg. The trio have formed SAC Partners and are rumoured to be willing to pay US $28m to take a stake in the block.
