Conferences Events Suggestion Using Ranked Based Hyperlink-Induced Topic Search Algorithm

The recommendation for academic events has become a necessary thing at the recent time. The conference became one of the good bridges to connect the researchers with each other, not just to publish the article. With the large number and diversity of conferences held annually around the world, a researcher has been spending a lot of time in search of the right venue. In this research, finding the appropriate conference within the same interest of the author's field has been proposed. In which, the behavior of the researchers within an academic community has been analysed. Ranking based HITS algorithm was utilized to rank the most similar k-authors to a target author in order to find the upcoming conferences with respect to his/her k-authors collaborators.
