摘要

Due to the importance of tracking the video media such as in the surveillance and tracking systems, the tracking process needs to management, since there are states of appearing new object in the video, or/and disappearing some object during the video's time, this causes an occurred error in tracking if those challenges are not considered. In this paper, a track management system is proposed to cover the states of target birth and death during the tracking process. The tracker detects the objects and extract some information for each object in each frame, at least area and center features, and associates between the computed centers of targets of each two consecutives frames, to decide that each center belongs to which object. For the object centers association stage the nearest neighbour technique was applied.
