Eni has added to its acreage off Ghana surrounding its existing successful core. The new Cape Three Points Block 4 acreage in the Tano basin in the west of the country has been awarded to the Italian operator in its existing alliance with VitoL The new block covers an area of 1,127sq km in water depths ranging from 100m to 1,200m (328ft to 3,935ft) and partially surrounds the Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) block where development of the Sankofa and Gye Name fields is ongoing.
