Brain oscillatory activity and CT perfusion in hyper-acute ischemic stroke

Objectives: The combined use of perfusion neuroimaging and brain oscillatory activity may provide a better clinical picture of neurovascular coupling of the injured area in ischemic stroke. The aim is to assess stroke-related topographic electroencephalography (EEG) changes during the earliest phase of ischemic stroke and to compare them with hypoperfusion identified by computer tomography perfusion (CTP).
