Russia’s Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ) has reported the launch of a project for seamless pipe plant con- struction. VTB bank will provide the RUB 35 billion ($537.4 million, $1 = RUB 65.13) funding for the new asset under a strategic partnership agreement signed with ZTZ. A 400,000-450,000 tpy seamless pipe plant may be set up Central or Southern Federic Distric. The construction is due to begin in 2020, while the company intends to reach design capacity in 2022. According a company insider, the new mill will manufacturing a wide range of pipes, including tubing, casing and line pipes.
