摘要

In this study, we report a simple method for the fabrication of 3D porous membrane based on semi-interpenetrating network between polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and sodium alginate (SA). The constructed PVA/SA membrane is stable which is able to be used as drug carrier. Herein, tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH) was used as drug model. The structure of PVA/SA composite membrane was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). PVA/SA membrane possessed high porosity, regular morphology with large specific surface area. Furthermore, the as-prepared 3D PVA/SA/TCH porous membrane showed an excellent antibacterial property toward both Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria. In addition, they also exhibited a certain sustained drug release effect.
