MOST LIKELY, THE term "net neutrality" does not frequently pop up in the discussions of healthcare executives—instead believed to be reserved for the technical professionals who adopt and implement health IT solutions for an organization. But as electronic health records (EHRs) become more cloud-based, the need for increased use of telehealth/telemedicine and transmission of medical device data has now reached the forefront of healthcare conversations—bringing net neutrality into the conversation.
