ExxonMobil Chemical has announced a linear low-density polyethylene(LLDPE)resin,LL 4004EL,for low-voltage power cable insulations.This resin provides cable manufacturers with a balance of crosslinking speed and ease of processing for cost-competitive cable constructions.LL400E1 resin has been field-tested and is suitable for processing in both one-step(Monosil)and two-step(Sioplas)process technology.
