To estimate the long-term performance of polyethylene pipe,molecular structure of polyethylene resin were analyzed and the long-term performance test were done.by linking the molecular structure of the resin to the results of long-term performance tests such as tensile creep tests and tensile fatigue tests,it estimates what kind of molecular structure the resin for pipes with good long-term performance should have.Oxidation resistance was also evaluated by examining the correlation between the oxidation induction time and additives (particularly anti-oxidations),and the results indicated the importance of the amount of particular anti-oxidations and their combination.
