North American Snapshot: US Jet Exports Hit New Highs

US jet exports hit a new all-time high of 244,000 b/d in March as traders sought to cash on a global shortage of jet kerosene after the coldest North Asian winter in decades. US jet exports were up by a third on last year as multiple Gulf Coast tankers headed across the Atlantic to fuel-starved Europe. March also saw two Indian jet tankers divert from Europe to the US Virgin Islands but booming domestic production meant US jet imports were down sharply year-on-year.
