Organisation presents a new way to sell livestock

With an eye to animal welfare, many farmers are now turning away from the auction mart to alternative sales methods. Dairy farmers are being offered a new way of marketing stock through GMA Direct, the new deadweight marketing service run by Bruton Knowles. As well as providing the deadweight marketing service of cull cows, finished beef and sheep, GMA Direct also supply dairy farmers with replacement heifers and other breeding stock such as in-milk cows, pedigree breeding bulls for both the dairy herd and the suckler herd, as well as store cattle and breeding heifers.
