Repeatability of perfusion measurements in gliomas using pulsed and pseudo-continuous arterial spin labelling MRI

To facilitate and justify the use of arterial spin labelling (ASL) for absolute tumour blood flow (aTBF) quantification, the repeatability of aTBF and relative TBF (rTBF) measurements must be estimated. This work (a) investigates the extent to which pulsed-ASL (PASL) and pseudo-continuous ASL (PCASL) techniques can produce repeatable measures of aTBF; and (b) determines the impact of the internal reference ROI size and its positioning on rTBF.
