Many of you have from to time considered starting a small hobby greenhouse business. Sell those excess grown plants on a stand out front of the house and pay off the mortgage. This can be accomplished but there are a few things to consider first. Willthe local government or township allow you to do this on a regular schedule? Many places regulate yard sales to once a year because of traffic problems and requiring a permit to sell. Check on these areas first. Also, the very important "people traffic" that pass by the selling area on a regular basis. Neighbors may buy some plants from you but may also complain about drive-by customers taking up parking spaces.
