Goodness, awoke this morning - as usual, donned an aloha shirt, shorts and flip flops, performed the usual morning ablutions and headed to our patio - the same routine I've been doing since mid-May. On the way I collected the Denver Post off the frontstoop, yes - I'm old, I still read the paper and then grabbed a cup of coffee from the kitchen counter. I sat down in my recliner and turned on the flat screen TV and suddenly realized I was freezing. I quickly checked the date on the newspaper to makesure I hadn't slept September away and after confirming that it was, indeed, August 31st, headed back to get a flannel shirt, pants, socks and deck shoes.
