Many home gardeners have asked us for homemade sprays to fight insects and diseases of house plants. We've made a collection of them, and we've tested them in our home and greenhouse. We present them for those who are reluctant to use chemicals and prefer the organic way to banish pests. Non-chemical methods for coping are more widely accepted today than ever before and in many cases they work just as well as the high-powered pesticides. For the latest chemical controls, consult your State College or your local Extension Agent.
