摘要

In this research, performance of one-equation subgrid scale stress models of LES in simulating three-dimensional compressible temporal mixing layers has been studied. For 3D flows at Ma = 0.8 the results of Smagorinsky, Yoshizawa's one-equation, dynamic one-equation, and Spalart-Allmaras one-equation models are compared with DNS data. Concerning the results of 3D flows, generally it is clear that the performance of the Spalart-Allmaras model is better than those of other one-equation models. Moreover, 3D flow is solved using the Spalart-Allmaras model at different Mach numbers, and turbulence characteristics and coherent structures have been investigated.
