The risk of forward-tipping dump trucks overturning with fatal consequences was highlighted when the prosecution of a contractor in Swindon over an employee fatality was followed by the death of a member of the public in London. Cheltenham Magistrates Court heard the case against Swindon contractor Tonic Construction, which pleaded guilty to breaching Regulation 2 (1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act.
