Drone safety tightened as deployment rises

Under new rules announced by the Department for Transport, all UK drone users will have to pass online safety tests from 30 July 2018. Anyone flying a drone weighing 250g or more will also have to register with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA); the previous threshold was 20kg.
