The health and safety sector "has some way to go" to close the gender pay gap, IOSH has said, following the publication of mandatory gender pay gap reports by large organisations. On a national scale, these revealed that women were paid 9.7% less than male colleagues on average. However, companies with a relatively low number of women in senior positions tended to have a higher median pay gap.
