Two photographs snapped by members of the public within two months of each other, showing workers balanced precariously on the roof of a Manchester city centre hotel, have landed two directors, one company and an employee in the dock. In the first of two separate prosecutions, both heard at Manchester Magistrates' Court, steel erection firm employee David Mulhol-land was handed a suspended jail sentence after he was caught on camera balanced precariously on scaffold tubes 27m in the air.
