18. Newbuildings and Conversions

Borr Drilling is scheduled to take delivery of newbuildjackup Njord from PPL Shipyard on 30 January 2019. The PPL Shipyard Pacific Class 400 design unit is the last of nine units the yard has built for the rig contractor. The rig currently has no charter following the handover, and will likely be warm-stacked until Borr secures work for it. Borr has six more jackups under construction at Keppel FELS in Singapore, with delivery dates peppered between now and December 2020.
