U.S. Propane Inventories Rise 2.4 MMbbl,Surpass Year-Ago Level

Primary U.S. propane stocks climbed a more robust 2.4 MMbbl,or 3.1%,the week ended Sept. 28 to reach 78.7 MMbbI,according to the latest This Week in Petroleum report by the Energy Information Administration(EIA). As of then,inventories stood 6.6 MMbbl,or 7.7%,lower than die five-year average level for the same time of year but 718,000 bbl,or 0.9%,above last year. Measured against two years ago,however,volumes were down a steep 25.3 MMbbl.
