Extrusion veteran starts company that offers a range of production services

Gene Brown, who authored a column that starts on p. 20 in this issue, is launching GB Extrusion Techniques, a Florida-based company that will offer employee training as well as a wide range of industry knowledge-based services. "There are many intricacies in the extrusion process, and over my 40 years in the wire and cable industry I have gained expertise that allows me to train others as well as pass along advanced knowledge," said Gene Brown. He said he will instruct newcomers in the nuances of the field, to help them learn how the process works, just as he did when his career started in the late 1970s.
